
Always get a kick out of seeing the wonder in the eyes of kids when they get to do something new. To be allowed to collect the eggs from the coop knowing that at least one will be smashed, is part of giving little ones a bit of life experience.

The aftermath of our yearly bonfire saw a good amount of leftover ash…and days later when little feet went exploring down the back of the property, it wasn’t long before they spotted something that looked much like a sandpit but oh it was so much finer, dirtier and absolutely a thousand time more fun to play in.
Turning 6 and 8 respectively a few months apart, these 2 had birthdays filled with two wheeled fearless antics…
The wedding date was set Thursday, 1st April – no joke! And then the unthinkable happened – a snap lockdown and all plans were cancelled/postponed/hanging…..
But come Saturday, 3rd April….
Those hazy, crazy, hot summer days of sunflowers and the neverending appeal to travel an impressive number of miles for an impressive number of hours for a glimpse and a photo or two.
