I had the pleasure of photographing this event, where the keynote speakers were Anastacia Palaszczuk and Emily Seebolm as well as Endometriosis Ambassadors, including radio queen and podcast princess Ellie Angel-Mobbs, media personality Mel Greig, Laura Furiosi from Bossy Mummy and Kylie Brown.

Lots of other volunteers including many medical professionals made this event the success that it was.

Endometriosis is a disease where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows outside it in other parts of the body, most often affecting the reproductive organs but it can also be found in and around the bowel and the bladder. It has been found in every part of the body, including the skin, joints, lungs and brain.

There has been little understanding about the disease and yet it affects 1 in 9 women. Endometriosis Australia was established to raise awareness and fund research.
