January 2025…my first road trip to Sydney from Brisbane.

Not wanting to drive down the coast road, I took a bit of an inland meander. Travelling down roads less travelled, desperate to find petrol when my tank was almost empty and I was in the middle of nowhere, finding quaint little townships that were worth a repeat visit, visiting Gostwyk Chapel which was on my to do list – this part of the journey was crazy amazing!

The drive through Tenterfield in all its resplendant greenery was such a welcome sight.

Then the short journey from Uralla to the uniquely picturesque chapel at Gostwyck was an example of contrasting scenery all in the space of a 20 minute drive.
